Outdoor units are equipped with base heaters that allow efficient operation in heating mode even during extreme cold. The air conditioner activates the defrost mode only when necessary and only for as long as needed to defrost the heat exchanger, ensuring nearly continuous heating operation. The smart defrosting system used in AUX air conditioners improves energy efficiency by 5% and increases heating efficiency by up to 20% in low outdoor temperatures.
Depending on the room layout, interior design requirements, and user needs, the unit can be installed on the floor directly against the wall or suspended from the ceiling.
The indoor unit housing includes a factory-precut opening for fresh air intake, allowing the unit to supply fresh air from outside into the room. The maximum possible fresh air intake is up to 10% of the total air supply.
